Pastor Gene has been the pastor of First Assembly for over 30 years. He grew up in the small town of Kings Mountain NC, where he met his wife Cathy Alexander.  He is funny and enjoys fellowship with friends. He is passionate about sharing Jesus with others and is willing to pray with you no matter where he is! He loves the Word and studies it everyday!

Cathy Alexander is our associate pastor, choir leader and praise team leader. She is a great listener and always there if you need her. She loves the Lord and is excited about sharing the Gospel!

Here at First Assembly, you will be greeted with a warm welcome as soon as you walk in!   We work together and have so much fun, for every event or special occasion. Our church is not somewhere you just go to, its a family you belong to!
